The Pepperoni Pizza is Ok.. But The Great Escape Is Amazing..
Funky, chill, and delicious spot to grab a good slice of pizza in Nashville! Plenty of seating indoors and out. Come, eat!
Like the oven fired taste but price is too high to come regularly and wish for more toppings. Appreciate your having vegan and gluten free options, but also would be cool to get gluten free by the slice.
What a great place to visit and search for the perfect pair of boots. The selection is so large you might even find TWIO perfect pairs.
My favorite pizza in Nashville, hands down. The Kitty and the Tristan are my favorite slices, but I've never had bad pizza here. It's also a very fast meal, a place where you can be out in 15-20 minutes. The place itself is also really great. It supports artists (which you can tell from the decor and outdoor stage) and student groups. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat or for lovers of pizza with thin and crispy cruat and fresh and inventive toppings.
I have celiac and am sensitive to cross contamination. Ordered a gluten free pie and it looked so good that I got paranoid about it being a regular crust. It wasn't! They put it in a box for me to keep it separate from the regular slice that my boyfriend ordered, which I appreciated. The pizza was delicious and had plenty of toppings. I reheated some later that night and it was just as crispy as when it was fresh. They have canned and bottled drinks and a big thermos of ice water up front. Clean dining area. Friendly staff. There is dedicated parking but it's paid, which kind of sucks, but it IS downtown.
Just got back from eating here and it’s right up there with top three best pizzas I have ever eaten. This place is definitely worth checking out. This place is on time.
All that matters here......is the pizza is OVER THE TOP DELICIOUS! Wow the crust is the perfect blend of thick and thin. My favorite is the Newman, it's like the Heaven of pizza!
Wow! Moved here from L.A. last year and just found this place! Best plant based, vegan and gluten free pizza I’ve had so far. The other vegan pizzas were from Herban Market which is excellent as well. Called in and asked what the crust was made out of, brown rice flour, potato flour, and tapioca flour. They were super nice on the phone. The crust was nice and thin and super tasty. Crispy crunchy on the crust area. Loaded with vegetables and sauce. The pics in this review are of the small size which is their personal size and it is huge. They only do the gluten free crusts in the small size. There were three of us and we ordered 3 different pies. The Earth Mother, the V for Vegan, and the Larry Tate. Each pizza was uniquely different and really some of the best pizza I have ever had. Definitely going back for more!
Pizza looked great and authentic NYC. Unfortunately the front cashier was incredibly rude and unwelcoming as I walked in, even when I asked for a recommendation he was quick to shut me down. I decided to grab a slice. He couldn’t process my Visa so he asked for CASH, I gave a $50 bill and in return I was handed a stack of $1 bills and a handful of change for a $3 purchase. I quickly returned my purchase and left the establishment with no apology and only laughter from him. Be aware of a man wearing thick black glasses.
Good stuff! Gluten and lactose free pizza, yay!!!!
Love this place. NEVER DISAPPOINTED!! Every selection is excellent.
Friendly folks, nice laid back atmosphere, and really good pizza.
Always great to find pizza by the slice any time they are open. They have vegetarian and vegan pizza by the slice as well as whole pies. The cashiers could have been a bit friendlier the three times I have been there.
This place looks so neat from the outside! The inside is tiny & the hipster crew isn't the friendliest. There's no table service, which is fine but I had to reach around & grab my cup because the girl at the counter didn't hand it to me before she called the next person & my friend had to ask for her beer that she assumed would come out with her food. The garlic knots were an odd texture & the only thing special about the pizza is the names. This is a long review when all I'm really trying to say is "eh". 🤷♀️
Best Pizza in Nashville. Ordered a pickup by mistake, they called to ask if I wanted it delivered. 10/10.
Delicious. Great music. Authentic taste.
This was a cool place to eat and they had really good pizza. The Kitty is on the right and the Newman is on the left. The Kitty was pretty spice but both were delicious!
My favorite pizza in Nashville! Look foreword to a “kitty” every time I’m here. Been to Chicago, New York and live in St. Louis. Phenomenal taste and the crust is perfect. Located in the middle of several other pizza shops, Two Boots stands above the rest.
Took my credit info said they never got my order talked to them on phone. Waiting for my bank statement
They were out of a few different toppings/pizzas, but finally figured it out. Asked if the number we were calling from was a good number and our name. After getting the address, was told it would be an hour. After 90 minutes we call and they say oh we didn’t know who’s pizza this was since we didn’t have a name and number. Another 20 minutes go by and the delivery guy shows up with an ice cold pizza. I guess they were running low on cheese as well because this thing was only half way covered with cheese. Should also mention that the topping they said they were out of were on the pizza and one they said they would put on it were not.
Very nice staff, awesome pizza! I highly recommend the Kitty for spice lovers. I found this place by accident, as it's a hole in the wall between the bars, hotels, and other pizza places. I make sure to comeback each trip!
We loved two boots! The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 is because we've only been once when it was slow. The service was quick and friendly. The regular crust is on the thin side, which we didnt mind being from St.Louis but others might. The regular crust my partner got was crispy but not burnt and held up really well. The gluten free crust had a little bit of fluff to it but a nice crispy bottom and a really good taste. They offered many vegan options and the ability to customize. Their house made pestos were fresh and delicious (especially the jalapeno) plus the vegan ricotta was amazing (even my nonvegan partner thought so). The atmosphere was relaxed and reminded us of one of our favorite pizza spots back home. Ultimately, I would highly recommend and hope to go back sometime. Although I can't speak for the by the slice pizza it seemed pretty popular amongst fellow patrons.
🍻🍻😂 love the pizza and the service
There's nothing like incredible, fresh pizza late at night when your starving after a concert. Cool atmosphere and some great friendly pizza makers - can't go wrong!
Quirky and aromatic, this snug little restaurant has limited seating...just five inside booths. Don't let that turn you away! There are picnic tables on an outdoor patio for use; weather permitting. Pizza is made fresh daily and each slice is re-heated in an electric oven before being served on a white paper plate.
Excellent NY style pizza in a cool art deco atmosphere with really unique music and craft beer
The best pizza in this part of town. The price and quality is similar to Five Points Pizza. Very cool daily specials you can buy by the slice. Nice staff, nice environment.
First time trying Two Boots. We were looking for gluten free vegan crust and vegan toppings. We were not disappointed. The crust was very thin and crispy and the toppings were delicious and plentiful! We ordered 3 small and they each had 6 large slices. We had the Larry Tate, the Earth Mother & V for vegan. Yummy!!!!
Nice little spot for new york style pizza 😍
The pizza is just ok. Definitely not authentic NY style pizza. Ordered pizza and a calzone and both crusts were burnt. Thank goodness I didn’t order well done. Also, my calzone was suppose to have roasted garlic and pepperoni but came with peppers and pepperoni. I gave it away since I don’t like peppers. Probably won’t order from here again. Joey’s House of Pizza is far superior and very authentic.
Best pizza in town
Delicious pizza! The crust is so tasty and the sauce is just right. We ordered a pineapple and canadian bacon and ate every bite. We will definitely eat here again when we are in Nashville.
Stop it!!! Hands down BEST FREAKIN PIZZA in Nashville!!! Great flavor and FRESH!!!Harlow Salon Nashville on music row thanks the hell out of you!!!!Support your local people and get this pizza!!!
Pizza was not that great. I got the cheese pizza and it was very very spicy. Crust is excellent. Husband got pepperoni and said it was just okay. Sad, we had high expectations for this place. But the two kinds we had we're not that great for the price that was paid. Friendly service and staff. Pizza just okay.
Got the kitty (hot chicken pizza) and the dude. The hot chicken pizza was amazing, and the cashier was really nice as well.
The crust on the pizza was cooked to perfection. The toppings were fresh and delicious. One of the best pizzas I've had.
2 calzones, one vegan, one with sausage. Sausage was incorrectly put into the box labeled "vegan". Honest mistake by an apologetic employee. No problems besides the mix up. Staff was curteous, food was yummy.
Really good pizza and service but extremely pricey.
I use to live next to the original Two Boots pizza in the east village, which I loved. I decided To give Nashville a try and it is still amazing. Not crazy expensive, super delicious, and the customer service is amazing. Deff a must !!
Favorite place in Nashville that has the best gluten free options. Menu is never boring and service always top notch!
I tried the gluten free pizza and I was surprised how good it was! This is a pizza place hidden in the mid-town area. Definitely need to try if you are looking for a a fun & hip place to grab lunch or dinner.
Found this place on Google while looking for something to eat. Took a chance and wasn't disappointed. Check this place out. Definitely a 5* place.
Cool spot. Pizza by the slice makes it convenient! Great pricing and the staff was nice and helpful. Definitely will be back.
Loved it! From the historic building decor to the customer service but the pizza is delicious. It has a hipster style with a Nashville twist to it
Our gluten free pizza would have been great (5 stars) if it weren’t for the burnt crumbs all over the bottom of it.
A great spot for a late-night slice or to grab a pizza to share with friends. Delicious and interesting combos of pizzas and big slices - what's not to love?
The pizza is good, but sometimes it's not consistent. I'm not sure why, but its aight overall. Def worth better than eating a hot dog.
If you love pizza you will love this place. They have a pizza called "the kitty" and it has chopped up Nashville hot chicken I would say it is probably my fave. Oh and they also deliver
Best Pizza
